FEATURES:

The English Elm is a large spreading tree growing to a height of 20 metres. The dark green textured leaves with serrated edges change to yellow in Autumn.
Budded – still minimal suckering.

COMMENTS:

Excellent shade tree, used mainly for parks, street plantings and larger gardens. Suitable to most soil conditions. Tolerant to wind and dry conditions.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
