FEATURES:

A densely conical form of common Hornbeam, very narrow when young but broadening slightly with age. Fine toothed green leaves which turn yellow in autumn.

COMMENTS:

Widely used in landscape gardening as screening plants and hedges. A very hardy ornamental tree, preferring well drained moist soil. Frost resistant

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
