Crepe Myrtle

FEATURES:

This hardy Crepe myrtle has an upright multi-stemmed growth habit with a rounded crown and will grow to a height of 6 metres. It produces an abundance of pale pink flowers during Summer and Autumn. Foliage is green changing to red and orange in Autumn. The tree also has attractive mottled bark on the trunk.

COMMENTS:

This variety is highly resistant to powdery mildew. Prefers well drained rich soil in a sunny position. Pruning is recommended to develop strong growth.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
