DESCRIPTION:

Producing small round fruit with purple skin and firm very sweet yellow flesh, with a slight tartness, freestone. Grows to height 1.5-2 metres and width 1.5-2 metres.

MATURITY:

Mid February (Mid to Late season).

SUGGESTED POLLINATORS:

Considered Self Fertile.

COMMENTS:

Used for fresh fruit, drying and very good jam variety. An upright growing tree, prolific bearer requiring staking.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
