DESCRIPTION:

The weeping maple gives a spectacular display in any garden. Spring leaves are claret-red, deeply lobed and serrated giving a delicate lacey look, leaves turn bronze over Summer. Brilliant red Autumn foliage.

COMMENTS:

Plant in a protected area, mulch well. Prefers cooler climates. Suitable to be grown in large containers.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
