FEATURES:

This large, semi-deciduous upright growing tree will grow to 10 metres in height and produces slightly larger leaves than Parvifolia. Foliage is dark green and glossy and change to yellow in Autumn, at which time flowers also appear. Leaves will hold on branches until late Winter.

COMMENTS:

Used for parks, street plantings and larger gardens. Suitable to most soil conditions.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
