FEATURES:

A deciduous shrub or small tree growing to a height of 10 metres, that has sweetly scented pretty, goblet shaped, white flowers in the early Spring, borne before the plant comes into leaf. Leaves in Spring are a shiny dark green.

FLOWERS:

Sweetly scented pretty, goblet shaped, white flowers in the early Spring.

COMMENTS:

Prefers an acid soil with good drainage and shelter from wind, so that flowers are not damaged while blooming, fertilize and prune to shape after flowering if required. Will flower in about 3 years.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
