DESCRIPTION:

Magnus Sumer Surprise (PBR)

Bright shiny vibrant red apple with deep-pink coloured flesh inside.All parts of the tree including flowers, branches and fruit have red-purple colouring. Growing to a height of 2-3 metres with a spread of 2-3 metres.

Mid Summer Fruit (Mid Season) Heavy cropping variety

COMMENTS:

Bred by Bob Magnus, Tasmania’s own heritage apple expert. Deep-pink coloured flesh, Early summer fruit. Rose-red fruit that follows purple/pink spring blossom.

TREE CARE:

Prune young trees to create an open canopy of strong branches that can support heavy future crops. After 3-4 years, prune lightly in summer. Fertilise in spring and autumn, provide irrigation in the heat of summer for best yields.
