FEATURES:

This is a fast growing balsam type tree. The foliage is green, with white underneath the leaf and red stalks, changing in Autumn to golden colours.

COMMENTS:

Often used as wind breaks and along driveways. Tolerant to most soil types, air pollution and coastal conditions. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Can have an invasive root system. This variety will not sucker.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
