DESCRIPTION:
Large round firm fruit, skin is red tinge over yellow background and flesh is creamy yellow with a beautiful sweet flavour with a bit of tang, rich and juicy, freestone.
Grows to height 1.5-2 metres and width 1.5-2 metres.
MATURITY:
Late January – Early February (Mid season).
SUGGESTED POLLINATORS:
Santa Rosa, Mariposa, Satsuma.
Partially self fertile but benefits from pollinators
COMMENTS:
Used for fresh fruit, stewing preserves and jams. Spreading growth habit and bears good crops.
TREE CARE:
Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
