FEATURES:

Magnificent Autumn foliage of oranges and reds is one of this tree’s features. It has green pinnate leaves over spring and summer. Insignificant red flowers and red (ripening to blue) fruit which are barely noticeable.

FOLIAGE:

Rich green, extremely fine pinnate foliage, brilliant autumn foliage, which remains on the tree for many weeks.

FLOWERS:

Insignificant flowers and red (ripening to blue) fruit which are barely noticeable.

COMMENTS:

Ideal street tree. A tolerant tree of all but very strong wind conditions and suitable to most soil types and climates. Likes moist soils but not continually wet feet, but will also tolerate extremely dry conditions.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears.
