DESCRIPTION:

An uncommon garden tree of moderate size. It is prized for its striking colours with leaves turning beautiful crimson and gold in Autumn. Flowers are clusters of crimson stamens appearing in early Spring with exfoliating bark on mature specimens.

A small tree with a wide spreading habit. Drought-tolerant.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
