FEATURES:

This hardy Crepe myrtle has an upright multi-stemmed growth habit with a broad spreading crown and will grow to a height of 4 metres. It produces an abundance of coral pink flowers during Summer and Autumn and in fact can bloom for up to 100 days in warm areas. Foliage is green changing to reds and purples in Autumn. The tree also has attractive mottled bark on the trunk.

COMMENTS:

This variety is highly resistant to powdery mildew. Prefers well drained rich soil in a sunny position. Pruning is recommended to develop strong growth.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
