CEDRELA Sinensis – JFT Nurseries

FEATURES:

A deciduous upright tree, spectacular in Spring. The young pinnate leaves unfurl bright coral pink and keep this colouring for about a month before turning cream and then finally a dull green colour.

Bright coral pink in early Spring, fading slowly to cream, and then turning to a dull green colour.

COMMENTS:

Cedrela sinensis is perfect in a space where height is required but no canopy. Hardy in hot and dry conditions, prefers a full sun position. Ideal as a specimen tree for spring colour.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
