DESCRIPTION:
A small, delightful, deciduous tree with large, soft fern-like leaves. Terminal clusters of flowers with long, conspicuous deep pink stamens, arranged like fluffy silk tassels, borne in summer. Very quick growing.

COMMENTS:
Water after planting until established, keep well watered through the summer. Prefers full sun or part shade. Plant in a reasonably sheltered position.
TREE CARE:
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting.
