Pink Horse Chestnut

FEATURES:

A stately, spreading, fast growing tree with bold, heavily veined green leaves, that turn a clear yellow in Autumn. Upright racemes of pretty pink flowers cover the canopy in late Spring/early Summer, followed by inedible chestnut-like fruit.

COMMENTS:

An excellent tree for larger gardens and parks, especially where a fast growing shade tree is required.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
