Silver Variegated Elm

FEATURES:

The Silver Variegated Elm is a large tree that develops multiple trunks growing to a height of 25 metres. Dark green leaves are mottled white giving a silvery appearance, they are finely serrated and change to yellow in Autumn.

COMMENTS:

Resistant to Dutch Elm disease. Used mainly for parks, street plantings and larger gardens. Suitable to most soil conditions.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
