Manchurian Pear

FEATURES:

The Manchurian Pear is one of the most commonly known Ornamental Pears. Small pyramidal shaped tree, growing to a height of 10 metres. Leaves are glossy dark green turning to an array of spectacular Autumn colours. It is one of the last deciduous trees to lose its leaves. Clusters of pretty single white flowers are borne in Spring giving a beautiful display.

Pyramidal when young, rounding out with age.

COMMENTS:

Excellent Autumn foliage. Suitable for medium gardens, parks, avenue plantings and street trees. Tolerant to most soil types.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
