Dwarf Robe De Seargent

DESCRIPTION:

Small elongated fruit, with dark blue to purple skin, yellow juicy and very sweet flesh. Freestone.

MATURITY:

Mid to late February (Mid season)

SUGGESTED POLLINATORS:

Prune D’Agen, Coe’s Golden Drop and Green Gage Plum.

COMMENTS:

Very commonly used for dried fruit, also eaten fresh and used for preserves and jam making. When dried Prunes have very high levels of antioxidants, fibre, iron and vitamin A and C.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
