DESCRIPTION:

Small to medium oval fruit with blue to dark purple skin. Flesh is firm, yellow and very sweet, freestone.

Grows to a height of 1.5-2.0 metres and a width of 1.5-2.0 metres.

MATURITY:

Late January- Early February (Early to Mid season).

SUGGESTED POLLINATORS:

King Billy, President, Damson.

COMMENTS:

Used for fresh fruit, drying and jams. A spreading tree, may require thinning if a heavy crop, prolific bearer will require staking.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
