DESCRIPTION:

Large conical pale orange skinned fruit, flesh is firm and sweet with excellent flavour.

COMMENTS:

Don’t pick until fully ripe and softened, as this is an astringent variety. Used fresh and for cooking. Prune back tree’s old growth each year, as fruit is borne on new growth. Suitable in most climates.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
