DESCRIPTION:

Medium size pear , that is green when picked, and famous for its yellow colour when ripe. It’s white flesh is soft, smooth and very juicy with a sweet flavour. Grows to a height of approximately 2 -2.5m at maturity.

MATURITY:

Early to Mid February (Early Season)

SUGGESTED POLLINATORS:

Beurre Bosc, Nijisseiki – may also be partially self fertile.

COMMENTS:

This variety stores well with good keeping qualities. Used for fresh fruit, preserving, and cooking.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a sunny position with well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
