FEATURES:

The White Cedar is a native Australian plant.It is a handsome, deciduous shade tree growing to a height of 13m. Its green fern-like foliage turns to red Autumn tonings before falling. Perfumed purple-lilac flowers in Spring hang in sprays, followed by green berries that turn to orange in Summer.

COMMENTS:

Ideal lawn specimen, with bird attracting flowers and berries. Berries are toxic to humans and some other mammals. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Protect from frosts when young. Drought tolerant.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
