DESCRIPTION:

Grown on a 2 metre standard, this is a small rounded tree with long semi-pendulous branches and an abundance of double flowers. The blossom is large and bright pink in bud, opening to a soft pink fading to white in the centre, with prominent yellow stamens.

Green serrated leaves, brilliant Autumn colour of orange and reds.

FLOWERS:

Double fragrant pink blossom which then fade to white.

COMMENTS:

Very attractive garden feature, known for its masses of showy flowers. Also produces small insignificant fruit. A most popular tree for the small garden, or where space is limited.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
