Weeping Crab Apple

DESCRIPTION:

This is a graceful more finely branched weeping tree. The new foliage is purplish in colour turning to bronze green with an abundance of single flowers during Spring. The blossom is bright crimson pink, and extends the length of the branches. Also produces ornamental crimson fruit.

SHAPE:

Horizontal / Pendulous shape.

FOLIAGE:

COMMENTS:

A very attractive garden feature. Use fertilizer at planting and again after new growth appears. Keep well watered.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
