FEATURES:

A fast growing deciduous tree with a perfect upright conical form. When established attractive tulip shaped scented flowers of pale green with orange centers appear in late spring/early summer. The variegated leaves are large and have a distinct shape, turning golden in Autumn.

COMMENTS:

Prefers acid soils and is also tolerant to air pollution. Frost tolerant.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
