DESCRIPTION:

A medium size deciduous tree or shrub. Flowers are double, with rose-pink buds, opening to soft pale pink blooms. This is an attractive combination. Sweetly scented flowers are produced in abundance, mid-spring.

SHAPE:

Upright rounded shrub.

FOLIAGE:

Green heart shaped leaves.

FLOWERS:

Double, soft pale pink blooms. Slight fragrance

COMMENTS:

Plant in full sun. Heavy pruning after flowering will help keep a compact shape. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
