DESCRIPTION:

A medium size deciduous tree or shrub that produces a profusion of single pale violet flowers. Very fragrant, sweetly scented flowers are produced in abundance in mid-spring.

FOLIAGE:

Green foliage.

FLOWERS:

Single, pale violet blooms that are very fragrant.

COMMENTS:

Plant in full sun. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
