DESCRIPTION:

A small to medium size deciduous tree or shrub. Cream in bud, opening to beautiful double white flower spikes in late spring, which are slightly perfumed. A very attractive shrub for any garden. Can be used for cut flowers.

SHAPE:

Upright shrub.

FOLIAGE:

Green heart shaped leaves.

FLOWERS:

Double white fragrant flowers.

COMMENTS:

Plant in full sun. Prune after flowering. Annual mulching and fertilizer in autumn recommended, with summer watering required.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union approximately 5 to 10cm BELOW the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
