DESCRIPTION:

This is a Semi upright tree, not a true weeper. The young branches have an upright spreading growth habit, which becomes flatter and more pendulous as the tree matures. In mid Spring, large double blossoms are produced that are pink in bud and fade to white as they open. Hanging in clusters under the branches, they give a very attractive display. Foliage is green changing to yellow, orange and reds during Autumn.

FLOWERS:

In mid Spring, large double blossoms with serrated edges, are pink in bud and fade to white as they open.

COMMENTS:

A very popular feature tree, suitable for any garden. Plant in full sun or part shade. Frost hardy.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
