DESCRIPTION:

Weeping branches are covered in pink buds, opening to clusters of double pink flowers in mid to late spring. Spring foliage is reddish bronze becoming glossy green over summer. Autumn foliage is golden, orange and reds.

Double, pretty pink flowers, which hang in clusters in mid Spring.

COMMENTS:

This magnificent weeping  tree is ideal for a small garden. Branching can be unruly and spreading to upright, which can be kept under control by pruning if a more formal look is required. Plant in a sunny position.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
