DESCRIPTION:

Also known as Early Moorpark. This variety produces medium size rounded fruit with apricot coloured skin and a deep blush. The orange flesh is juicy with a good flavour.

Late January (Mid season)

COMMENTS:

This variety is suitable for fresh fruit, drying, preserving and jams. Apricots are nutritious fruit, high in vitamin A. Can be susceptible to early frosts, generally drought tolerant. This heavy bearing tree will need thinning to produce a good crop of fruit.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
