DESCRIPTION:

Moorpark is a medium to large sized fruit with orange skin and flesh. A very popular variety for Home Gardeners as it produces a deliciously flavoured eating fruit.

MATURITY:

Late January to early February (Mid to late Season)

COMMENTS:

Used for fresh fruit, jams, preserves and drying. Apricots are nutritious fruit, high in vitamin A. Can be susceptible to early frosts, generally drought tolerant.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
