DESCRIPTION:

The large rounded fruit with deep apricot colored skin and orange flesh has an excellent flavour. This variety is very popular for the home garden. Grows to a height of 2m and a width of 2m.

Late December / early January (Mid Season)

COMMENTS:

This variety is suitable for fresh fruit, drying, preserving and jams. Apricots are nutritious fruit, high in vitamin A. Can be susceptible to early frosts, generally drought tolerant. Tree may need thinning as it is a heavy bearer.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
