FEATURES:

A large deciduous shrub with year round interest. In Summer it is covered in green, broad, serrated leaves. They drop in Autumn to reveal extremely twisted and contorted branches. A mass display of ornamental pale yellow catkins are produced in late winter early spring. An interesting specimen tree with branches that can be used in floral arrangements.

TREE CARE:

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
