FEATURES:
Known as the Silver Maple, this is a fast growing, large spreading tree to a height of 15 metres. The foliage is green with silvery white underneath. This deciduous maple tree provides very dense shade. It will tolerate poor soil types, although slightly acidic is preferred, and either wet or dry conditions.

Green with silvery white below, turning golden and red in autumn.
COMMENTS:
Suitable for large gardens, parks or street plantings. A hardy shade tree.
TREE CARE:
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the dub union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
